Salma, a Muslim girl, dreams of being a Kora player, but in her tradition, a woman can’t play this instrument. One day, while recovering her father's Kora from repair, a monk gives her the opportunity to secretly take Kora lessons. The apprenticeship turns into a dangerous idyll.
